You are a consultant to both an internal and external project team for mono- and multidisciplinary projects on location (site-based team). This makes the projects challenging, dynamic, and always different, whereby you look for creative and sustainable solutions.

What you do as a HVAC Consultant

As a consultant, you are responsible for the execution of engineering work. You are involved in projects from the project definition phase up to and including the commissioning phase. You are involved in, among other things:

  • Supervising and realizing projects related to laboratory renovations and mechanical (complex) installations in the pharmaceutical environment;
  • Commissioning installations within small and medium-sized projects such as renovations and new constructions;
  • Active customer contact during the projects.

Even when the project gets tough, you are the first point of contact for the customer and you ensure a successful and 'supported' project result. The great thing is that you can count on specialists in all relevant fields, which we all have internal!

We support clients in the implementation of multidisciplinary building and process-related issues. We mainly do this at leading multinationals in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and R&D industries. The main emphasis is on engineering and supervising projects in the disciplines of architecture, construction engineering, construction, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, and measurement & control technology. In our projects, we also work together with other fields of expertise within the organization, such as building physics, fire safety, and project management. A good result in a pleasant and collegial way is what we aim for. We act as frontrunner of innovations such as the digital transition, energy transition, and parametric design. We can immediately apply the knowledge and experience we gain in sustainable, future-proof facilities throughout our entire building program.

What you bring

You know technical work within a GMP environment and practical experience in the pharmaceutical and lab environment. You can take charge and manage an internal and external project team. You can continue to function under time pressure and manage multiple projects in different phases. You also have this at home:

  • Higher Vocational Education diploma in technical direction; mechanical engineering, installation engineering, or energy engineering;
  • At least 8 years of work experience in a similar role and environment;
  • Prepare and monitor project scope, budget, and schedules;
  • Distinguish core issues;
  • A positive and proactive attitude;
  • Good command of the Dutch language. 

In addition, you live in the south or the centre of the Netherlands.
