Our Team

With offices in 23 countries, we support our clients worldwide with transactional services. We cater to both private and public sector clients, providing services ranging from feasibility studies to due diligence and post-deal auditing. In the private sector, we are leaders in energy, industry, real estate, maritime, and aviation, where we facilitate M&A deals and project finance. In the public sector, we have a strong presence in impact investments in developed and emerging economies. Our ability to combine technical, ESG and for some sectors commercial due diligence is greatly valued by our clients. Our website shows a small selection of our due diligence in the energy (Eneco and AEB) and maritime (Port Burgas) sectors, but our track record is much wider in terms of scope, geography and sectors.

You will join our Advisory Group Energy & Processes consisting of about 90 consultants based across several offices in the Netherlands. As frontrunner in energy transition, we combine technical and environmental expertise with management consultancy to provide solutions to support our clients with their strategy and programme for the transition towards a low carbon economy. Our services include transactions and ESG advisory, master planning, project definition and conceptual design, with a focus on energy (electrical and (new) energy carriers), logistics and supply chains.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Consultant in Transactional Services for the private sector, your role will be pivotal in advising clients and spearheading our initiatives in M&A and project finance. You will take charge of managing technical due diligence projects, providing expert guidance to team members, and participating to the commercial negotiations with clients. In M&A and/or project finance deals, you will serve as the go-to expert, supporting clients throughout the entire process, focusing on technical matters.

What You Bring

• Previous experience working in Technical Due Diligence, Project Finance with proven track record in one or more major sectors (i.e. energy, industrial, transport or real estate).
• Proven skills in due diligence projects, in particular the ability to assess technical aspects and translate those into risks and financial ratios. Environmental or commercial due diligence experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and flexible attitude.
• Academic degree in engineering, finance, and/or economics.
• Strong client orientation and excellent networking abilities.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch and other language skills are a plus.
