Our purpose is to enhance society together through our people, expertise, partnerships and innovations. We strive each day to create solutions that are designed to change life for the better of communities around the world. The global mobility team provides advise to our business on the consequences of international staffing on projects around the globe. We also make sure that the employees abide by the applicable legislation (tax, immigration and social security). As our new global mobility expert, you do not only contribute directly to our company mission, but you are also involved in the shift to our new way of working, hybrid and remote. Do you want to take on the challenge of future-proofing our expat schemes and aligning them with our strategy and mission?

What you will do as a Global Mobility Expert?

The Global Mobility team is involved in all cross-border employment and assignments within the organization and act as the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, such as managers, HR and Finance colleagues. Next to that, we are responsible to ensure that all related policies and programs are aligned with the company’s long-term strategy.

You will be involved in the full global mobility lifecycle of RHDHV employees worldwide. This means that you are involved as of the first initiation and setup of the assignments, and this continues throughout the entire assignment. You are considered a subject matter expert and will support managers as well as the individual employees with their requests. You are not only an expert regarding Dutch inbound/outbound assignments but are also able to spot the risks when it comes to third country combinations. More specific, you will:

  • Advise the business on the consequences of international staff working on the project from an international tax, social security and immigration perspective.
  • coordinate and execute all requirements relating to working abroad, including (but not limited to) Visa and work permit applications, application for specific tax rulings, the Posted Worker Directive and advisory around international tax compliance
  • be the liaison for our external vendors for tax/social security/immigration
  • support the team in the continuous development and professionalization of our Global Mobility Strategy
  • assist in further digitizing the Global Mobility process
  • draft assignment cost calculations and assist the managers with setting up proper business cases ensuring cost effectiveness and compliant set ups
  • coordinate and ensure the correct implementation of the packages in our core systems, based on the business case
