Together with our clients we work on a sustainable future and deliver data-driven products and solutions that help them be resilient to climate change, live in a safe environment, and take steps in the energy transition. Join us to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to innovative deep learning initiatives. This internship is an opportunity to bring the worlds of data engineering and GeoICT closer together!
Data Solutions is the company’s front-runner in GeoICT expertise. Our niche specialism is using spatial data in top-notch solutions for all different kinds of clients. As we continue developing ourselves, we seek to understand new technological opportunities that will keep us ahead of our competitors. We are an Esri-focused company when it comes to using GIS and spatial data and also explore to see how Esri’s solutions and services are integrating with other software vendors. An important player here is Microsoft. Its Azure products are more and more allowing for integration with Esri products. This is for our team a golden opportunity to bring the worlds of data engineering and GeoICT closer together, and to build highly scalable cloud-native GIS solutions.
During your internship, you will be investigating these integration options. As the team is already investing time in exploring new opportunities you can join ongoing efforts or start up a new one, in consultation with your supervisor, based on your interest. Having an interest in deep learning is a plus as there are ongoing projects involving deep learning frameworks on Esri products. Ultimately, you will share your insights with the team and explain how it can benefit our business. Also, you will be exploring how it is to work in a big engineering company and contribute to several projects. Your time will be distributed around 60% and 40% between your internship research and project work.
