With your excellent development and execution of integrated, strategic marketing plans, you drive the demand for our SaaS and service-based digital solutions. You generate marketing and sales qualified leads to contribute to achieving the revenue and market segment goals, across both future and current clients and partners.

What you will do as a Marketing Strategist

As our new Marketing Strategist you initiate, develop and implement the multi-channel marketing strategy and activation plans for our Business Line Software. Our digital solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of our customers and tackle society’s most pressing challenges. From scenario analysis and predictive simulation to advanced process optimization: we have the data and AI-powered solutions organisations needs to thrive. 

Your strategies and plans contain the development of a content marketing strategy with the full (digital) marketing toolkit in mind such as SEO, SEA, Social Media, events, PR and media buying. You align your strategies, KPI’s and plans with the overall marketing strategy of both the Business Line and the overall strategy of Royal HaskoningDHV. Besides that, you manage the alignment between the company's integrated portfolio and the preference, trends and needs of the leading markets.  

Some examples of work you will be involved in are:

  • Initiate, implement and analyse brand awareness and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Manage the go-to-market strategies and tactical implementations of (digital) marketing initiatives.
  • Commercialise our service offering by translating the portfolio in clear value propositions.
  • Manage current and potential strategic partnerships for the optimisation of brand positioning, portfolio, innovations and projects,
  • Build and implement a strong account-based marketing strategy and manage campaigns. Ensure that the ABM strategy has been communicated and adopted by the business development and sales teams.

As a Marketing Strategist, you will become part of a dynamic, international and fast-growing marketing team that serves the Business Line Software. A team with marketing and communication experts who each have their own focus. You will also collaborate with Business Development & Sales, Line Managers and Leading Professionals, for example to develop value propositions.

What you bring

You have proven experience in developing and executing B2B-marketing strategies and digital marketing strategies, preferably for SaaS models. Growth hacking and growth marketing techniques have no secrets for you. You make data driven decisions across all steps of the customer journey. And because you are analytical by nature, which makes it easy to solve problems and you can deal with tight deadlines.

With your eye for detail, you execute your tasks with great accuracy and enthusiasm. Because you easily make connections, you are great in working as a part of an integrated team. And even though you are a real team player, working with autonomy and taking direction is no problem for you. 

Additionally, you have:

  • A bachelor+ or master degree in Communications, Marketing or a Business Discipline.
  • 5+ years recent and relevant experience in working in an international organisation and running marketing & communication strategies and execution across different levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with inbound marketing and CRM software
  • Good at understanding complex information and translating it for a specific target audience
  • Understanding of the sales process and how marketing can contribute to this. You can bridge the gap between marketing and sales.
  • Excellent communication (spoken & written) skills, fluent in English.
