What you will do as Resident Engineer

Position: Resident Engineer for the Ain Magara Project

Project Overview: Royal HaskoningDHV has designed the Ain Magara project, supported the tender process, and will now be responsible for the site supervision of this project, which is expected to have a duration of one year. The project consists of the refurbishment of the Ain Magara pumping station, the construction of two new small pumping stations in two storage reservoirs, the construction of a catchment basin, a pipeline of 6 km from the catchment basin to the Ain Magara Pumping Station, and the upgrading of the Haditha pipeline.

Location: Jordan

Duration: Full project duration (1 year)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated site supervision team comprising experienced local inspectors.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Working Hours: Approximately 60 hours per week, with compensation aligned with the workload.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with FIDIC contracts.
  • Over 10 years of relevant working experience in similar projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Start Date: 1 October 2025
