What you do as a Sales Manager Nereda

Nereda and its associated Bioresource products are innovative wastewater treatment technologies actively promoted worldwide by Royal HaskoningDHV through the Water Technology Products division. As our new Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on promoting a universally recognized and sustainable solution. Your technical expertise will be utilized to understand the challenges faced by the wastewater industry and align with our commitment to continuous innovation. The diversity of our global clients necessitates maintaining close relationships with them to effectively address their specific challenges.

As a Sales Manager within our Nereda team, your responsibilities will revolve around generating and securing sales within your assigned territory, primarily focusing on the municipal and industrial markets in Europe. You will work in close coordination with the Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and achieve targets.

You are expected to successfully:

  • Engage in proposal preparation to ensure comprehensive and compelling proposals.
  • Proactively engage with existing accounts to generate leads and drive sales
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and opportunities for sales growth.
  • Generate and maintain a well-organized system for tracking leads and managing customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to align sales and promotional efforts, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach.

Our preference is that you will be based in The Netherlands, but if you are located in Europe, that is also possible. The position requires regular short-term travel and a flexible attitude.

What you bring

The Sales Manager Nereda role requires a target-oriented individual who is skilled at building relationships and has a genuine interest in innovative solutions. You are creative, self-started, self-organizing, team player and you have an entrepreneurial mindset. 

Additionally, the ideal candidate would have:

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • experience in sales in the water sector
  • international experience is beneficial 
  • proficiency in English
  • other languages, in particular French, are welcome.
