What you will do as Senior Consultant Climate Risk Strategy

     As a Senior Consultant Climate Risk Strategy for the private sector, you get the chance to work with multinational companies and SMEs. With your strong advisory skills, you will work together with other experts in global and multidisciplinary teams on our diverse projects. You will focus on strategic and managerial choices our private clients are facing. You will help them implement these strategies using your skills in program and process management, within their organizations as well as in interaction with their partners. This means you:

• provide strategic advice for our clients globally
• engage with clients regularly and provide them with your best and independent advice. Think out of the box and look for creative and innovative solutions

What you bring

     To be successful in the role of Senior Consultant Climate Risk Strategy, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

• a relevant academic background with at least 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of experience working with MNEs on the impact of climate change on the business operations
• knowledge and experience of business strategy and operations, with either a strong financial background and/or experience in the field of water strategy, impact measurement, and climate change financial disclosure reporting
• passion for helping clients improve their sustainability and a keen interest in helping clients better understand, measure, quantify, and formulate the (long-term) value they create in relation to water and climate
• ability to learn and quickly understand new concepts outside your area of expertise, think strategically, and implement practical solutions
• strong technical, quantitative, analytical skills and the ability to solve new problems
• strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication in English
• ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with clients
• ability to contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements from your own network and experience in business development
