Facilitating global cross-border employment and international assignments within our organization. That is what we do within our Global Mobility Team. As a company, we want to Enhance Society Together and one means to that end is to leverage the knowledge we have gained in various countries in other locations where we operate. Through a wide variety of projects around the world, we are building up more and more knowledge and skills every day and - as the world is changing faster and faster and countries face similar challenges more and more often - we expect to see an increase in cross-border moves in the coming years where we can use our knowledge in different countries.

With that in mind we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Mobility Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international wage tax and income tax regulations, immigration, social security and cross border relocations. Do you want to take on the challenge of future-proofing our expat schemes and aligning them with our strategy and mission? Do you also want to contribute to the expansion of our knowledge networks so that our internal clients can make optimal use of our knowledge and expertise? Then keep on reading!

What will you do as a Senior Global Mobility Expert?

Within the Global Mobility Team, we are involved in all cross-border employment and assignments within the organization and act as the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, such as managers, HR and Finance colleagues. Next to that, we are responsible to ensure that all related policies and programs are aligned with the company’s long-term strategy.

You will be involved in the full global mobility lifecycle of RHDHV employees worldwide. This means that you are involved as of the first initiation and setup of the assignments, and this continues throughout the entire assignment. You are considered a subject matter expert and will support managers as well as the individual employees with their requests. You are not only an expert regarding Dutch inbound/outbound assignments but are also able to spot the risks when it comes to third country combinations.

As we are a small team, your assignment will be twofold, partially strategic in nature and partially operational. To start with the first, you will:

  • work closely with HR and other stakeholders to ensure that our global mobility program is effective, efficient, and aligns with our business goals and values

  • drive the digitizing the Global Mobility process
  • develop and deliver global mobility training and support programs

From an operational point of view, you will be involved in the full global mobility lifecycle of RHDHV employees worldwide. This means that you are involved as of the first initiation and setup of the assignments, and this continues throughout the entire assignment. You are considered a subject matter expert and will guide and support managers as well as HR with their requests. This will also include checking assignment cost calculations based on our 4-eye principle and assist the managers with setting up proper business cases ensuring cost effectiveness and compliant assignment or project setups.
