What you do as an Account Manager Technology Partners

   As an Account Manager for Technology Partners, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key water technology partners. You will collaborate closely with these technology partners to identify how their solutions can enhance value for our customers within our projects. Additionally, you will develop strategic plans for growth and ensure the successful implementation of these technical integrated solutions for our water technology products.

      We are looking for an experienced technical water professional to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage accounts for our water technology products partners, including overseeing contracts and financial agreements, and providing detailed reporting. The position also includes supervising the qualification process, ensuring overall project delivery, and supporting our partners in managing leads and sales.

      As part of our enthusiastic team, you will also collaborate closely with our sales and product development teams. The role is predominantly focused on account execution and management (90%), with a smaller portion dedicated to business development (10%). As an Account Manager Technology Partners, you will become part of our Nereda team, delivering projects globally. 

     The Business Unit (BU) Water Technology Products (WTP) of the Business Line Water & Maritime delivers water technology products like Nereda®, Ephyra® and Aquasuite® all over the world. With the ambitions of growth of our technology portfolio, we are looking for a colleague to strengthen Nereda team for these exciting projects. We are a very international oriented BU, with almost 100 colleagues of more than 20 nationalities working in different countries around the world.

What you bring

  • BSc or higher degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related fields
  • A BSc degree related to business with an educational background in wastewater is a plus
  • 5 years or more relevant experience
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in the water and wastewater sector
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, self-organizing, and a team player
  • Availability for short international trips (3-5 times a year) as we work globally
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
