What do you bring?

We are looking for an ambitious candidate who likes to work independently in an international environment where professionalism, integrity and a natural curiosity are the standards and where a high level of education and knowledge is available.

In this role you need to be ambitious (where can the company improve), analytical (assess risks, deficiencies and quality of controls) and independent (in the execution of the audits and in your attitude). The Audit Committee requires Internal Audit to integrate Finance more into their internal audits so you should be knowledgeable in Finance. Next to that you should have strong communication skills and good IT knowledge would be an advantage. A combination of interviews and /or data analytics form the basis for your audit opinion and recommendations for improvement. You will have to travel abroad a few times per year for a period of one to two weeks.

If you are not a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors yet, you will have to pass their programme to become a Certified Internal Auditor.

We look forward meeting candidates with the following work experience and/or knowledge:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field (preferably Finance, Audit).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in planning and performing audits, preferably some years in one of the big four audit firms. Or alternatively, you have similar experience in an international company working in a Finance role.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (both verbally and in writing). Mastering the Dutch is an advantage.
